ON1 just shared a sneak peek of its new Super Select AI tool, which uses AI to intelligently select different elements in an image. Now, the company has demonstrated another cool feature that will soon be coming to ON1 Photo RAW: Tack Sharp AI.

No prizes for guessing what this tool is designed to do, but the examples ON1 offers in its latest teaser video look mighty impressive, bringing back amazing detail to a variety of out-of-focus images. In the demonstration, the tool appears in the “Noise & Sharpening” pane, on its own as well as in combination with the existing NoNoise AI tool, so you can fix an image that is both blurry and noisy in one go.

In the video description, we’re told that the new Tack Sharp AI tool will be included in the next major version of ON1 Photo RAW as well as the next major version of the ON1 NoNoise AI plug-in—but not when either of those releases will happen. Check out the video below.
