Olympus E-P2 Starts Shipping
By Matt J. Weiss, December 9, 2009 @ 12:06 PM (EST)
If you are doing your christmas shopping for a photographer, keep in mind that the Olympus E-P2 starts shipping today. The camera offers some nice improvement over the E-P1 including continuous autofocus, full settings control while recording 720p movies and a more detailed electronic viewfinder, among others.
The price is going to be right about $1100 with either the 14-42mm or the faster 17mm pancake lens. No words on housings yet, but micro four-thirds seems to catching on, and I expect it will in the underwater world. I can't think of a nicer topside camera present, though.
