Ocean Geographic is now calling for entries to this year’s edition of OG Pictures of the Year Competition (PICOTY). As usual, there are awesome trips, gear and cash prizes up for grabs, and a prestigious judging panel that includes David Doubilet, Stephen Frink, Sylvia Earle, Doug Perrine, Pascal Lecocq and Valerie Taylor.
The contest, which is in its 10th year, invites contributions to 17 categories: Animal Portraits, Fish Behaviour, Animal Behaviour, Black & White Print, Colour Prints, Coral Reefs of the World, Creative Vision, Small Exotic Animals, Human & Ocean, Open Water (Pelagic Zone), Black & Blue Water Exploration, Emerging Photographer of the Year, Music & Pictures, OG Master Portfolio, Emerging Ocean Geographic Photo-Journalist, Conservation Picture of the Year, and Vision of the Sea Movie.
Entry costs $50, which allows you to submit up to 20 images, but you can take advantage of the Early Bird Special and enter an extra 10 images for free if you register by January 31st. Register to enter now before 31st Jan 2022 and you can send in up to 30 images for judging instead of only 20. Once registered you can take time to prepare your submission because you have until 28 Feb 2022 to upload your entries.
