Octopus Steals GoPro for Selfie
Call him a selfie-lopod.
A self-fish octopus stole a GoPro camera from an Australian diver, only to turn the lens back towards himself and capture a brief selfie video. The whole thing began when a scuba diver in Sydney Harbor placed a GoPro outside the den of an octopus trying to capture a selfie of his own.
But before he could get in the frame, the octopus used one of its eight arms to snatch away the camera—stealing the limelight. Eventually, the diver is able to wrestle the camera back, but not before we have a new underwater filmmaker star in the making.
