Nikon 2009 / 2010 DSLR Release Schedule Leaked?
By Jason Heller, July 13, 2009 @ 08:43 AM (EST)

Most underwater photographers are incredibly frustrated at the pace of DSLR releases. It seems like every 18 - 24 months, our expensive DSLR's and housings become outdated. The expense of buying a new camera this often is bad enough, but the underwater housing doubles, if not triples, the price of the upgrade. We constantly receive emails from readers asking about what's in the pipeline, and which cameras and housings to buy.

So when we hear about any leaked plans or even rumors about new DSLR's, we try to get that info out right away. Thanks to the folks at Nikonrumors.com, for the following potentially leaked schedule from Nikon. Are these real plans? Or just rumors and someone's stab at predicting what's next? It's too soon to tell, but we do know that some of the short term models (like the D300s for example) have been leaked prior and we feel confident about these releases. Let's see what happens.

August 4 introduction: (Apparently the end of July presentation is for compact cameras)
