By all counts, current U.S. President Barack Obama has been one of the top crusaders for shark conservation by signing into law shark fin bans and creating massive marine sancutuaries.

But does incumbent U.S. President Donald Trump feel the same way? Not so much.

He made his opinion on sharks quite clear in a mini Twitter tirade back in 2013. One Twitter fan asked future President Trump to remove shark fin soup from his casinos, claiming it would make the billionaire a hero.

Unfortunately, Trump doesn’t only have a non-opinion on sharks—but also thinks they are some of the worst things in the world.

“Sorry folks, I'm just not a fan of sharks - and don't worry, they will be around long after we are gone,” Trump tweeted (a fact some marine scientists might debate).

But that wasn’t enough to communicate his distaste for sharks.

“Sharks are last on my list,” he tweeted a few moments later, “other than perhaps the losers and haters of the World!”
