New Underwater Museum in Croatia
Checklist for museum visit: Water bottle, money for cheap cafeteria lunch, and…a SCUBA tank?
A Croatian dive club has opened an underwater museum, helping divers get immersed into the world of maritime archaeology. The museum features 11 artifacts in a maximum of 30 feet of water, so that even beginner divers can feel like underwater Indiana Jones.
The artifacts are replicas of the most famous underwater archaeology discoveries—including the 2000-year-old Apoxyomenos statue.
