New Sea & Sea Housing for Sony a7 Mark II

Underwater photography support for Sony’s popular a7 Mark II camera continues with the announcement of Sea & Sea’s MDX-a7II housing. Highlights of the housing include its compatibility with Sea & Sea’s new Optical YS-Converter, which allows users to trigger their strobes with optical cables by using the camera’s electronic signal rather than pop-up flash.
Unique to this housing is the ability to pair it with both Sea & Sea’s ML and NX port lines with a new conversion ring. The housing is expected to ship early this month with an initial MSRP of $2895.95.
