New Enhanced E-Book Version of Reef Fish Identification
By Joseph Tepper, March 13, 2016 @ 06:40 PM (EST)

The Reef Fish Identification book has been a staple in the toolbox of underwater photographers for decades. Then, with the rise of tablets and smartphones, you could fit the book in your pocket as a PDF. And now, the iconic book continues to evolve with the announcement of the Reef Fish Identification Enhanced E-Book.

Designed to be more interactive and easy-to-use, the enhanced e-book mirrors a smartphone app, rather than a traditional PDF file. Each chapter begins with thumbnail images of each species included in that section—you can click on that image and go directly to the animal’s page. There’s also a big yellow button that takes you back to the family introduction.

The end result is an e-book that makes it easier than ever to find your “mystery fish.” The book retails for $39.99 and is available through the Apple iBooks store in almost any country. Stay tuned to DPG for a review of this new Reef Fish ID book.
