New Book: 100 Facts About Dolphins
By Joseph Tepper, April 28, 2015 @ 11:30 AM (EST)
Did you know that dolphins begin learning to catch fish at just four months old? That and 99 other fascinating facts about our flippery friends can be found in the new book, 100 Facts About Dolphins.
Nikon Ambassador and National Geographic contributor Viktor Lyagushkin along with Bogdana Vashchenko spent several years photographing and researching the Black Sea bottlenose dolphin for the book. “Our team worked hard for a whole year: We gathered information, talked with leading specialists in the field, and studied scientific works,” explains Viktor. “We observed the dolphins above and underwater, and kept on taking photos.”
The book is now available in Russian in a print format, as well as an English version through the iTunes store.
