Ever wanted to put a Sony E-mount lens on a Nikon Z-mount body? No, neither have we! But apparently, some folks do, and for those forward-thinking types, lens accessory maker Megadap has created the ETZ11—the world’s first automatic adapter for mounting Sony E-mount lenses on both full-frame and APS-C Nikon Z bodies.

According to the press release (below), the adapter supports both AF-S and AF-C autofocus, aperture control and in-body image stabilization—even with manual lenses without chips. Megadap says the ETZ11 supports a “wide variety” of first- and third-party E-mount lenses from Sony, Samyang (Rokinon), Sigma, Tamron, Voigtlander and Zeiss.

Measuring just 2mm thick, the ETZ11 is constructed from aluminum alloy and comes with a special clip-on cable for firmware updates via USB. The adapter can be purchased for $249 from Megadap’s online store.

Megadap Releases The First Ever Automatic Adapter for Sony E lenses on both Full Frame and APS-C Nikon Z Cameras

Hong Kong, 23rd August 2021 – Megadap, a new ambitious manufacturer who specialised in making camera lenses accessories, has just announced the launch of World’s first automatic Adapter ETZ11 for the full line-ups of Nikon Z mirrorless cameras (both Full frame and APS-C) to use Sony E lenses. Features like autofocus (AF-S / AF-C), aperture control and IBIS can now be retained. It can also work with MF lenses (with/without chips).

Functions Upgrade
