Marelux has released an upgraded version of its Double Flip Holder, an essential attachment for macro photographers that want to switch between different wet lenses.

Constructed using anodized aluminum alloy, the flip holder features a hydraulic balance damping system for a smooth flip and stable free-stop without sagging. The lubricant-filled hydraulic chamber aims to ensure that flipping is always smooth and no jamming occurs even after thousands of flips. As Marelux Ambassador Andy Sallmon explains in the YouTube video below, the mechanism allows each lens holder to be tucked behind the port, so they don’t get in the way of your strobes when not in use.

The Double Flip Holder features a 67mm thread, so it can be used on a wide variety of macro ports. Marelux users can enjoy compatibility with the Macroview MV-15, Macroview MV-10 and Macroview MV-5 close-up lenses, as well as the MacroView 60 wet conversion lens.
