March 2010 Monthly Photo Contest Winners
By Matt J. Weiss, April 7, 2010 @ 02:55 AM (EST)

Winning images for March's underwater photo contest have been selected.

The winner of the contest and a
$200 Ultralight Control System gift certificate  is Mark L. Fuller. The judges liked his blenny potrait because the interesting back and bottom lighting of the subject gave it a "specimen" feel to while still being very aesthically pleasing. As with the previous month's winners, it's a very unique image.

Second place went to
Peter G. Allinson for his tack sharp baby whale photograph. Steve De Neef won third place with his well composed image of a lion fish.

Congratulations to the winners! Entering the monthly photo contests is free, and every month there will be chance to win great prizes, not to mention the glory of placing.

A big thank you to Ultralight for not only sponsoring the March 2010 monthly photo contest, but February as well. Please support our sponsors as without them these contests would not be possible.

The Judges: Matt Weiss, Jeff De Guzman, Keri Wilk, and Yeang Chng.

1st place -  Mark L. Fuller

2nd place - Peter G. Allinson

3rd place - Steve De Neef
