Man Dives for 51 Hours
The man known as “The Grouper” has done it again.
American diver Alan Sherrod staked his claim for the world’s longest open saltwater dive at a little over 51 hours. Sherrod, 48, held the record in 2008 before being pushed out by another contender.
Upon returning from the dive, Sherrod’s desired were simple: "I'm ready to eat my grouper tenders, eat some fries and take a nap," he told the Sun Sentinel newspaper.
