Photography community 100ASA has announced the long-awaited iOS version of its photo gallery app. The Android version of 100ASA has been around for years, but the iOS app, whose development was first revealed back in 2021, has been a long time coming. Promising an intuitive, user-friendly experience, the new app will allow iPhone and iPad users to discover, share, and engage with fellow photographers. At the heart of 100ASA is its community curation system, which allows users to rate and comment on photos, resulting in the best work being seen by more people.
“We’re thrilled to be launching our iOS app, which will make it easier for photographers to engage with the 100ASA community from anywhere in the world,” says Andrea Turri, co-founder of 100ASA. “Our platform is built on collaboration and learning from each other, and we believe the app will make it even easier for photographers to do just that.”
A highlight feature of the app is the rewards program, which allows users to earn points by uploading photos, commenting on images, and participating in various photography challenges. Points can then be used to redeem various virtual and physical rewards, including free memberships, membership discounts, professional critiques, merchandise, books, Amazon gift cards, and charitable donations—with more rewards to be added in future.
To learn more, head over to 100ASA. Download the app from the App Store or Google Play.
