Our friends over at Lembeh Resort and Critters@Lembeh are celebrating a successful and accomplished 10 years in operation.

In celebration of 10 years they launched the inaugural Capturing Critters in Lembeh Digital Imaging Workshop featuring Doug Sloss, Ethan Daniels, Carlos Villoch, and Steve Fish.

Started in December 2002 by local Alex Rorimpandey, the Resort has grown from six cottages, one boat, one guide, and a 20 year old compressor to 14 deluxe cottages, 6 garden view rooms, 6 boats, and 12 full-time guides sporting over 50,000 combined dives in Lembeh Strait.  Lembeh Resort is also the only dive resort listed in Trip Adivsor's Top 25 Best Hotels in Indonesia.

Lembeh Resort and Critters@Lembeh are innovators in the Strait, celebrating several firsts in the strait including:
- first in Lembeh Strait to offer Nitrox
- first in Lembeh Strait to offer triple filtration gas filling purity system
- first & only to have full-time on-site Photo Pro and dedicated Photo Center
- first & only to have full time on-site Marine Biologist
- first to offer North Sulawesi's triangle combination packages including Bunaken, Bangka, and Lembeh in conjunction with MUREX Resorts
- first & only to have all guides trained to use two types of u/w slates
