Lembeh Resort has announced a weeklong underwater workshop with Scott “Gutsy” Tuason, an award-winning photographer who is particularly well known for his stunning blackwater photography but also for his beautiful critter portraiture. Participants won’t just get to learn from Gutsy either; in-house photo pro Jacob Guy will be on hand as well, as will the resort’s excellent dive guides, who are all trained in underwater photography and marine biology. All aspects of underwater photography will be covered, but presentations will have an added focus on three specific areas: animal portraits, behavior, and dramatic lighting.
The workshop, which takes place next year from April 15th to 22nd, includes accommodation and meals for seven days, 15 guided boat dives and two blackwater dives, daily presentations, and more. The event is open to all levels of shooters, so if you’ve ever dreamed of visiting one of the meccas of macro and muck, but need a guiding hand to get the most out of the small stuff, this could be the workshop for you!
