Larry Cohen is a good friend and great underwater photographer. Olympus is really coming out with top of line rigs and the E-520 with the PT-E05 system which Larry is focusing on is a really interesting set up. If you are in New York on Feburary 10th stop by B&H at and check out the talk. Here is the description from the B&H website.
More and more people want to bring their cameras into the water. Some just want snap shots in the family pool while others want to document the underwater world for magazines, books and the internet. Not only does Olympus make cameras and lenses that are perfect for this purpose - they also make camera housings and strobe lights to fit every budget. Join B&H staff writer and underwater photographer Larry Cohen as he talks about the use of Olympus cameras when used underwater. He will go over simple Point and Shoot systems to very sophisticated systems for Single Lens Reflex cameras. Larry will focus on the new PT-E05 housing for the E-520 Single Lens Reflex camera along with the UFL-2 strobe. This amazing system allows complete control of the strobes remotely from the back of the camera. So whether you want to take your camera to the water park or to the Great Barrier Reef, this will be entertaining and enlightening presentation. There will be a raffle at the end of the presentation, the prize being an Olympus point & shoot camera and housing.
