DPG is excited to announce that Katy Danca Galli is joining the DPG team as our Photo Editor. 

We are currently in the process of a major redesign, and part of that will be restructuring the design so there is a greater emphasis on photography. Bigger images, more galleries,  more portfolios and pretty much better everything.  So, we needed a photo editor, and we got one of the best in the biz!

Katy is a certified NAUI Master Diver who has been diving for 10 years throughout the Florida waterways. She has had a deeply seeded passion for underwater photography since she was 10 years old, when she was lucky enough to attend SeaCamp in the Keys.

Katy attended the Savannah College of Art and Design for photography and interned as a photo editorial assistant with Field and Stream magazine. After receiving her BFA, she went on to work as a photo editorial assistant for Sport Diver, Scuba Diving, and the Undersea Journal and six months later,  was made photo editor of Scuba Diving and the Undersea Journal.

Katy not only possess a keen eye for spotting the best images, but she has been slowly building a portfolio of underwater images with rented housings. Her goal this year is to finally buy her own housing and go diving as much as possible!
