Lembeh Resort Seeks Photo Center Manager
Explore your passion for underwater photography at Lembeh Resort, one of Indonesia’s premier boutique dive resorts. Live & work in paradise and surround yourself with highly trained dive professionals.
Lembeh Strait is home to the world’s best muck diving and amazing reefs are a short boat ride. Divers love us and guests receive quality service by photography trained dive guides, diverse experiences and luxury accommodations. Our Photo Center expanded to include ample display areas and stock, work bench areas, office space and a classroom for teaching courses. Best of all, we solidified agreements with Backscatter thus becoming the first Backscatter Authorized Photo Center. We’re set to anticipate the ever-changing dynamics of our industry and seek a qualified Photo Center Manager to help bring us forward.
Since 2002, Lembeh Resort has been on an exciting path of improvement and development. Our Photo Center opened in 2010 and we’ve employed four different Photo Pro’s each with a unique performance style. Our previous Photo Pro left only due to the Covid pandemic and travel restrictions. The Photo Center compliments our in-house Marine Biologists and ceaseless pursuit of excellence at the resort. We have our annual Capturing Critters workshop and countless photo groups and film crews trust us to deliver value. Backscatter, BBC, ABC, Wetpixel, DPG, NatGeo and many more all continue to support Lembeh Resort.
Underwater photographers who are passionate about shooting, teaching and who have an aptitude for managing a photo center will take to this job as a fish does to water. This is not a 9–5 job; flexibility is essential. Monthly salary and commissions, accommodation and all meals including drink allowance are part of the employment package. Work visas, holiday time and relocation budget will be included. Perhaps equally exciting is our partnerships with some of the industry’s top companies and personalities.
Lembeh Strait diving is truly incredible and North Sulawesi is a fantastic place to live and work. People here are gracious and genuine; local food is delicious and activities are abundant. There are few places on the planet where one can dive in the morning and trek a rainforest or volcano rim in the afternoon! Manado airport is modern with easy flights to Bali, Raja Ampat, Jakarta, Singapore and many other locations.
The ideal Photo Center Manager for Lembeh Resort will enjoy:
- Incredible diving in an exciting & professional work environment
- Opportunity to expand the Photo Center as a business
- Good salary with all living expenses paid
- Dynamic guests from around the world
