Isotta has released its housing for the Nikon ZR. Featuring a partially-stacked 24.5MP full-frame CMOS sensor, the compact cinema camera is capable of recording full-width 6K/60p in 12-bit RAW, 4K/60p with no crop, and 4K/120p using the DX portion of the sensor. Among the ZR’s videocentric features are dual base ISO 800/6400, custom in-camera LUT support, and 7.5 stops of in-body image stabilization.

Isotta’s anodized aluminum housing offers a wealth of valuable features: integrated adjustable handles, double O-ring seals on buttons and removable parts, one-handed open/close, a built-in moisture detector, and a large window for viewing the ZR’s 4-inch display. The ZR being a capable stills camera as well, the housing ships with two fiber-optic ports as standard, though the trigger is an optional extra. If you want to use an even bigger monitor, you have the option of attaching one via HDMI 2.0 using the housing’s M24 port.

The Isotta housing for the Nikon ZR will soon be available for pre-order from retailers such as Backscatter, priced at $3,780.
