Isotta is now shipping its housing for the Canon EOS R5 Mark II. The second-generation pro-level full-frame mirrorless camera features a new back-illuminated, stacked 45-megapixel sensor with much faster readout speeds, allowing the camera to shoot full-resolution RAW images (with AF) at 30fps using its electronic shutter with less rolling shutter than before. The R5II is now also able to record 8K/60p RAW video internally.

Isotta’s housing for the R5 Mark II offers a similarly comprehensive set of features to its predecessor housing from three years ago. You get the same anodized aluminum construction, integrated adjustable handles, one-handed open/close, and double O-ring seals on buttons and removable parts. There are two zoom knobs (for RF lenses and for EF lenses), a large-bore M24 port supporting HDMI 2.0 output to a recorder/monitor like the Atomos Ninja V+ and two M16 ports, plus two fiber-optic ports. If you prefer electrical triggering, it’s also possible to order the housing with Nikonos N5 or S6 bulkheads. Note that the manual trigger is an optional extra.
