After releasing its first housing for a pro cinema camera (the RED V-Raptor X no less) last month, Isotta has unveiled its latest product aimed at aspiring underwater filmmakers—a housing for the Canon EOS R5 C. While the “Cinema EOS-inspired” camera may already be a few years old, its spec sheet is still sounding very impressive: On the stills side, you get that 45MP sensor with Dual Pixel autofocus delivering up to 12fps continuous shooting with the mechanical shutter, and on the video side, there’s uncropped 8K/60p on offer as well as 4K/120p recording in 4:2:2 10-bit color (plus a built-in fan to ensure unlimited recording times).

Isotta’s housing offers all of the Italian company’s signature features: anodized aluminum construction and integrated adjustable handles, double O-ring seals on buttons and removable parts, one-handed open/close, a built-in moisture detector, and of course, that eye-catching paint job. Shipping with two fiber-optic ports as standard (the trigger being an optional extra), the housing can alternatively be configured with one or two Nikonos N5 or S6 bulkheads (or one of each). An M24 port is available for attaching recorder/monitors.
