Isotta has revealed their latest housing, this time for a mirrorless interchangeable lens Micro Four Thirds camera—the OM-System OM-5 Mark II. Like its predecessor Olympus camera, the OM-D EM-5 Mark III, the OM-5 II features a 20-megapixel Live MOS sensor and TruePic IX image processor at its heart. These deliver 10fps continuous shooting with the mechanical shutter as well as crop-free 4K/30p and 1080/120p video recording.

The Isotta housing for the OM-5 Mark II takes a bit of a departure from other housings by not including handles; these are a separate purchase and there are a couple of different options to choose from (see bottom of this article). Otherwise, you can expect the same good stuff we’re used to from the Italian company: anodized aluminum construction, double O-ring seals on buttons and removable parts, one-handed open/close, built-in moisture detector, and dual fiber-optic ports as standard.

For those preferring to trigger strobes electrically, the housing can be configured with one or two Nikonos N5 or S6 bulkheads, or one of each. The two M16 ports can also be used for accessories such as vacuum systems and monitors. The standard viewfinder can be swapped for other Isotta offerings or INON X-2 viewfinders.
