Italian underwater imaging equipment maker Isotta is now shipping its housing for Nikon’s latest and greatest full-frame mirrorless cameras, the Z9. Boasting a 45.7MP stacked CMOS sensor, the Z9 does away with the mechanical shutter, features an autofocus system with DSLR-style 3D-tracking mode, shoots 20fps RAW, and records both 8K/30p and 4K/120p from the full width of the sensor.

Made from anodized aluminum and finished with signature red, the Z9 housing shares all of the features found on other Isotta housings: dual integrated adjustable handles, one-handed opening/closing via a rotary knob, dual O-ring seals on all buttons and removable parts, and an integrated moisture alarm.

The housing ships with two fiber-optic ports (optional trigger required), while optional bulkheads provide the possibility of strobe connection via electrical sync cords. One M28 and three M16 ports allow various accessories to be installed, such as a vacuum valve or external monitor.

The housing has an MSRP of $5,490 and is available at retailers such as Backscatter.
