Isotta has released its new housing for the DJI Osmo Action 6. The groundbreaking action camera, announced in November 2025, features a 1/1.1-inch square image sensor and an industry-first variable f/2–f/4 aperture. It offers 8K/30fps recording, supports 4K/120fps natively, includes 50Gb of built-in storage, and features an open gate mode that lets you shoot first and crop into vertical or horizontal formats later.

Isotta’s Osmo Action 6 housing has much in common with their housings for two competing action cameras—the Insta360 Ace Pro/Ace Pro 2 and GoPro HERO12/HERO13. Made from anodized aluminum and depth-rated to 200 meters (650 feet), the housing features Isotta’s signature one-handed open/close, double O-ring seals on all buttons and removable parts, and a removable shade that offers a clear view of the rear LCD in bright conditions. At the time of writing, Isotta do not reveal whether it will be possible to use the housing with third-party wet lenses as you can with the Insta360 and GoPro cameras.

Available from retailers such as Backscatter, the Isotta Osmo Action 6 housing is priced at €468 without tax (the same as the price of the Insta360 and GoPro housings), which should translate to approximately $570.
