Insta360 has unveiled its latest waterproof 360-degree camera—the ONE X2. The new action cam improves on its predecessor, the ONE X, in various respects, including a new (circular) full-color OLED touchscreen display. The ONE X2, which is waterproof to 33 feet (10 metres) out of the box, features stabilized 5.7K 360-degree video recording, updated FlowState image stabilization technology, and a special underwater shooting mode called AquaVision that automatically balances color.

The camera supports both HDR photo and video, and PureShot captures and merges multiple images to enhance dynamic range, reduce noise and preserve detail when shooting in low-light situations. The new algorithm-powered Deep Track feature allows the camera to track subjects using a voice command or by tapping the screen. An optional Dive Case, depth-rated to 148 feet (45 metres), is available.
