INON has announced the first in a new series of LED photo/video flashlights, the LF1000-S. The new 1,000-lumen light offers the convenience of running on three AA-type batteries and boasts a burn time of about 50 minutes in full mode.

INON INC. is pleased to announce official release of the first version of LF series LED flashlight the LF1000-S on May 1st, 2014. The LF1000-S runs on 3 x AA batteries providing maximum 1000 lumen/30 degree coverage with two different power setting from its handheld compact body (*2).

■ LF1000-S Features ■

● Powerful 1000 lumen (*1) beam only with 3 x AA batteries

The LF1000-S runs on 3 x AA batteries which are readily available yet provides maximum 1,000 lumen (*1) with on board Cree’s latest power LED “XM-L2”. The rated practical burn time (*2) with “eneloop pro” (BK-3HCC) rechargeable batteries, is approx. 50 minutes (*3) at FULL mode or approx. 235minutes (3hrs 55 min) at LOW mode.

● Versatile two power setting for dual use on land/underwater
Selectable beam coverage/color with standard filters

Simple yet durable switch provides two power setting (FULL/LOW). The LOW mode with longer burn time both for on land/underwater use and powerful FULL mode for underwater use.  

Standard packaged accessory of the LF1000-S includes “Wide Filter LF-S” to increase standard 30 degree beam coverage at 30% more (approx. 40 degree) and also soften the light itself.  Other “Red Filter LF-S” (*4) and “Wide Red Filter LF-S” (*4) are also packaged to change color tone not to stimulate shy marine lives.  The LF1000-S supports you as serious lighting device for underwater imaging thanks to its native color temperature 5000K as well as powerful dive light or handheld torch on land (*3).

● Durable with flood-free structure

The LF1000-S has a simple rotary switch with a lock ring to ensure you with reliable ON/OFF operation and greatly reduces flooding risk as batteries are loaded from other end of the light body.
The light head and battery box are made from aluminum alloy carrying corrosion resistance in seawater for ultra durability.

● Supported by wide range of accessories

Single Light Holder LF, Strobe Light Holder LF support different combination for various lighting needs and Light Case LF 3AA benefits you to carry this flashlight standalone underwater.

● Interchangeable Light Head

The Light Head is usable for other 3 x AA battery operated LF series products (*5)(*6).
