Ikelite Releases Housing For Canon S95

As expected, Ikelite is the first housing manufacturer to come out with an Canon S95 housing. The S95 is Canon's upgrade to the S90 camera, popular for being a top notch camera in a small package. The hosing provides access to all the camera's controls except for the rear control ring. A gear driven systems allows use of the camera's front ring, which has been a much loved feature of the S90 camera. As usual, the housing is depth rated to 200ft/60m. The housing will retail for $325.
If the S95 housings sounds similar to the S90 housing, it's because the two cameras themselves are very similar. Unfortunately, the thickness of the two models are different as well as some button placement, so the S95 can't be used with the S90 housing. Ikelite does note that you can use your S90 in the S95 housing, with the rear and top pushbuttons sitting slightly off center but remain operational.
