Hergen Spalink and Kerri Bingham Join Team DPG as Managing Editors
By Matt J. Weiss, November 30, 2012 @ 02:35 PM (EST)

In the last 2 years, DPG has grown faster than we ever imagined. We have over 50,000 monthly readers from over 165 countries and are grateful and humbled by the positive feedback we've received from our readers and the industry.

As the DPG audience and projects grow, our team follows, and we are supremely lucky to be able to announce these two new amazing team members.

The duo is probably best known for being world class dive managers at dive operations in some of the top underwater photography destinations in the world--most recently at Critters@Lembeh.

They are also successful underwater photographers, having contributed to numerous publications including many articles on DPG, and have worked closely with many of the top pros around the world.

Hergen has a BS in Biology from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Kerri graduated from Portland State University with a degree in Social Sciences. They have spent the last decade working and diving the best dive spots in both the Caribbean and Asia, helping fine tune their muck, macro, and wide-angle shooting skills, and now live in Bali, Indonesia, where they have unlimited access to one of the ocean's best studios.

We are privileged and honored to have Hergen and Kerri join the team and look forward to all the great news, reviews, trip reports, event coverage and more from them in the future.
