After several years on hiatus, the Shark Shootout photography event will return to Stuart Cove’s Dive Bahamas, Nassau from November 13-18.
In addition to being held at the legendary Stuart Cove’s, the event will be hosted by underwater photographer Stephen Frink. The event includes a five-night stay at Nassau Sheraton beach and four days of diving with the world famous sharks at Stuart Cove’s.
“Stuart Cove’s is a destination is optimized for shark photography,” pointed out Frink. “There is a lot that goes into making a good shark image and we’ll be putting all of the participants right into the action – because that’s what is necessary to get the best shots. And then we’ll teach them how to get the most out of their digital images in our classroom sessions.”
Participants will also receive hands-on training in shark diving safety, advice on how to capture the best images, digital workflow and post production, and how to interact with feeders to assure the optimal shark portrait.
