Attention all underwater photographers! Here is another chance to display your talents of capturing the beauty of the underwater world.
Oceana’s Dive Program is announcing the start of an underwater photo contest designed to highlight photographer’s passions for sharing their diving adventures with others.
“We think it’s a great way for aspiring photographers to get some exposure,” said Suzanne Garrett, Oceana’s Dive Program Coordinator. “It’s all about sharing experiences and presenting new ideas.”
Photographers of all experience levels are welcome to participate and there is no subject requirement. So whether you have a macro shot of a nudibranch or a wide angle view of a coral reef, send your favorite underwater shots to Suzannah Evans (sevans@oceana.org) along with information about the subject, camera specs, and the story behind your photograph.
Selected images will be featured in Oceana’s quarterly newsletter and/or their website, highlighting the photographer and his/her work. Runners up will also be featured on their website (www.oceana.org). (Oceana will only obtain the right to use the images for this described purpose and not for any other uses.)
