Gates Deep Epic Video Housing Now Shipping

For underwater videographers, shooting footage in 5K -resolution is the dream.

This week, Gates announced that they are now shipping their “Deep Epic” video housing for the Red Epic and Red Scarlet Cinema cameras. It features support for a wide range of lenses, external monitor, and adjustable fingertip focus/iris/zoom controls.

The housing is manufactured from machined aluminum, depth rated to 450 feet and comes with a 2-year warranty. The housing is an impressive 25 percent smaller than the previous DEEP RED housing.
