Gates Announces New Accessories

Gates Housings, in addition to the housings for the F55 and HF G20 Cameras, have released two exciting Video Accessories today. 

The new EM50 monitor features a 5"(800 x 480 resolution) HDMI display that features focus peaking and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that provides over 10 hours of run-time. 

Gates also announced a Remote Lens Control Kit that allows a topside DP, cameraman, or focus puller to control underwater scenes when used in combination with their SDI surface feed kit.  The kit will integrate with Gates Cinema Camera Housings and several brand-name remotes such as Redrock Micro and Preston. 

The EM50 monitor will be available August 1st for $2550 (preliminary price) and the Remote Lens Control Kit will be available by special order and price is variable based on configuration.
