Gates Announces Flex 4K Housing with External Monitor

The new Gates Flex 4K housing, specifically designed for the Vision Research Phantom Flex 4K camera, provides underwater imaging at 4K resolution and a groundbreaking 960fps, making fast-action sequences like predation and feeding a super slow-motion delight.

The housing includes a raft of integrated features, including full camera menu access, remote run/stop, adjustable handles, adjustable buoyancy and trim, and pro controls such as manual focus, iris and white balance.

The Flex 4K housing also comes standard with Gates’ TVL55 External Monitor housing (also sold separately) for the TV Logic VFM-058W field monitor, which offers full 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution on a 5.5-inch screen and false color, vectorscope and waveform exposure tools.

Full HD Resolution and numerous focus/exposure tools in a compact color monitoring kit

Gates announces the latest addition to a portfolio of external monitor housings, the TVL55. Designed as a form-fit for the TV Logic VFM-058W field monitor, the TVL55 is a feature-rich combination designed for the discriminating underwater professionals:
