Garmin has announced the VIRB 360, their first foray into 360-degree cameras, and unlike most of the competition, it’s waterproof—down to 33 feet. The dual-camera device can capture 5.7K 30p video as well as 15-megapixel spherical still images. Video output with automatic in-camera stitching is up to 4K/30fps.

Launched with the VIRB 360 are a free mobile app and desktop program, allowing editing and sharing images and video. Captured footage can be stabilized in the software, but there does not appear to be any in-built mechanical stabilization. Users can also live-stream from the camera and videos are designed to be compatible with current VR headsets.

The VIRB 360 costs $800 and is available in June.
