First Look at Canon’s 4K Camera
After months years of rumors that Canon would produce a small 4K-capable camera, it appears the day of announcement is nigh.
At a press event in China, Canon unveiled a 4K concept camera that is expected to be officially announced at the NAB show in Las Vegas next month. The camera appears to be the size of a small DSLR and—perhaps more interesting—has a rotating grip that can switch between landscape and portrait orientation.
Other rumored specs of the yet-to-be-named camera include a 1” CMOS sensor, 10X optical zoom, and a 24–240mm (in 35mm terms) f/2.8–5.6 lens. Read more about the anticipated camera over on Canon Rumors.
