Girls that Scuba has announced the “Female Underwater Photography Competition,” which is open to female image-makers of all levels. There are four categories: “Beginners,” “Macro,” “Wide Angle,” and “Videography.”

“We’d like to encourage more GTS girls to take their photography one step further,” reads the post on the GTS blog. “So with the help of the Girls that Scuba first ever female-only underwater photography competition we hope to re-light your passion, improve your skills and maybe pick up a camera for the first time.”

In addition to offering up some great exposure for up-and-coming female photographers, the contest promises some pretty sweet prizes as well. Sponsors include Paralenz, Isotta, and Emperor Divers. Winners will be chosen both by judges and popular vote.
