Eilat Red Sea Photo Competition Goes for World Record
More than 160 divers from 16 countries competed in this year’s Eilat Red Sea Underwater Photography contest. But thousands more watched livestream coverage of the contest on YouTube.
It was all part of an attempt to set a world record for most viewers of an underwater livestream event. Although organizers still don’t have the final tally on total viewership, they estimate tens of thousands of viewers checked out the livestream competition on YouTube.
More on the world record and winners of the competition coming soon.
