DPReview, the website about all things camera and photography, has unveiled its favorite imaging gear of the last 12 months. The 45-megapixel, 8K-shooting Canon EOS R5 was named Best High-End Interchangeable Lens Camera (ILC), while the little brother Canon EOS R6 took the award for Best Midrange ILC. The Best Entry-Level ILC was the just-announced Fujifilm X-S10.
The Sony a7S III was deemed Best Stills/Video Camera (while the videocentric Canon EOS R6 was the runner-up), and the Fujifilm X100V was awarded Best Compact/Fixed Lens Camera. You might also be interested to know that the DJI Mavic Air 2 drone was considered Best Accessory (with the GoPro HERO9 Black not far behind), and the recently released top-of-the-range iPhone 12 Pro Max named Best Smartphone Camera.
Underwater housings are, of course, already available for many of DPReview’s winning cameras. Make sure to check out DPG’s Underwater Photo and Video Holiday Gift Guide 2020 for more info.
