DPG Announces June Monthly Contest Winners
By Lia Barrett, July 26, 2013 @ 06:00 AM (EST)

DPG is very proud to announce the winners of our June monthly photo contest.

June’s theme was “Wide-Angle,” and though there were many great options, our judges chose Lorenzo Mittiga’s visually captivating over under shot of a scuba diver in Bonaire with blue skies and rippling sand.  Lorenzo is the lucky winner of a Video Pro5 from i-Divesite.com!

A close silver medal goes to Marc Damant for his massive pile on of sea lions with a scuba diver.

And our third place honor goes to Peter Allinson for his fantastic shot of sailfish hunting a sardine bait ball.

As always, a big thank you to our all-star team of judges, who help sift through hundreds of images each month- DPG editors Matt Weiss, Joseph Tepper, Keri Wilk, Jeff De Guzman, Steve De Neef, Tobias Friedrich and Mark Fuller.

And a very special thanks to i-Divesite for supplying the sweet prize.

Congrats to the winners and all who entered!  And don't miss your chance to submit your “Red” shots for the July contest! The deadline is July 31st at midnight.
