DIY: Fix Cracked Camera LCD Screen
By Joseph Tepper, August 11, 2014 @ 10:51 AM (EST)

Underwater photographers should be well aware of Murphy’s Law—yes everything that can go wrong, will go wrong. At least once.

One such moment is cracking the LCD display screen of your SLR camera. Before you resign to sending it in for an expensive fix, or just ignoring the giant crack when reviewing images, try the do-it-yourself method.

Published on Instructables, this nifty DIY fix costs just $20 and takes less than five minutes. Hard to beat that! All you’ll need is the replacement glass (can be found on eBay), a blow dryer, and a suction cup—and a little know-how.

Check out the full method here.
