DAY 1
The first day of DEMA 2008 kicked off to a steady start, as attendees flooded their way down the main show floor aisle, which at times seems to continue forever.

After two days flying solo, thankfully today the rest of the DPG team arrived. The first to arrive was the newest member of the team, Miguel Novey. Miguel will be helping us launch of few new products over the next year and may even see him begin blogging for us soon as well. Wendy & Matt got in after the day 1 show was over, so Miguel and I had our hands full all day and didn’t have much time to walk around and shoot.

Update October 24th, Late Night.
What’s up everyone? Matt Weiss here with Keri Wilk, checking in after a long day on the floor and a delicious Thai food dinner. Day 3 is a wrap and its been a great show so far. Here's a quick summary of the show so far. The photo pavilion has been really active and an excellent way to meet people. The imaging resource center has been crowded and Jason gave an interesting speech on using the Internet to promote your images and video. DPG and Wetpixel hosted an awesome cocktail party that left the underwater imaging industry hungover - we'll cover the party in depth later.

Keri has been busy promoting his new SubSee Super Macro Adapter. I have been going around getting coverage of all the new photo and video products. Miguel and Wendy have been manning the DPG booth. And Jason, well Jason is running around like a chicken with his head cut off giving seminars, having meetings, and doing 100 other things.

Keri and I have just put up some coverage of some of the photo pavilion booths - links will be updated at the top of this page. Much more tomorrow including some cool new products I bet you haven’t heard of. Check in throughout the day .
Also, for even more DEMA news Wetpixel and Deeper Blue have also been putting up daily coverage, and if you're on Twitter, search for #DEMA for coverage from @JasonDPG and others.
