DEMA 2008: Indonesia
By Matt J. Weiss, October 30, 2008 @ 02:00 AM (EST)
Other than the photo/video pavilion, my favorite area of DEMA 2008 was the Indonesia pavilion, conveniently located just across the hall. It makes sense that Indonesia was located in close proximity to the photographers because the country has some of the best underwater photography opportunities in the world. The archipelago is home to some of DPG’s favorite dive operators including Archipelago Fleet, Lembeh Resort, Wakatobi, Minahasa Lagoon Resort and many more. They did a really good job of making the pavilion have that Indonesian friendly and festive feel. I guess it’s the next best thing to being there diving, but man does it make me wanna go back.
Its simply not an Indonesia pavilion if there is no dancing
