DEMA 2007: INON
By Jason Heller, November 6, 2007 @ 02:00 AM (EST)

Inon has been known for compact strobes with multiple power settings. They've become quite popular among many underwater photographers. However, over the last year or so , Inon has been slowly expanding into the housing and accessories markets as well. Their Canon 30D housing is a nice compact metal body, complete with a 45 degree viewfinder. Inon will be releasing a successor 40D housing soon.

Interestingly Inon selected the Olympus E-410 as the model to focus on, and it's actually quite nice. It's a compact plastic housing, with a fiber optic strobe connection, a manual focus “control ring” and an optional dome for the Olympus 8mm fisheye lens. The set up goes for around $725 - $900 (strobe and arms are extra of course). Not bad for a housed SLR system! .
