DEMA 2009: The Parties

The DEMA Show evenings are full of parties, galas, and even plain old drinking stints at the bars. On Friday night there were two notable events, the DEMA Awards party, and of course - the annual DivePhotoGuide & Wetpixel cocktail party.

However, the fun really started at the annual DivePhotoGuide and Wetpixel cocktail party.  The party was much more tame than last year's wild Vegas extravaganza, but it was still a lot of fun.  This year it was outdoors on the 2nd floor terrace of the Rosen Centre Hotel overlooking the pool. A few hundred people showed up to enjoy the party. The weather was great and the drinks were cold!

The dive industry is relatively small, and the underwater photography industry is even smaller, but both are very global. DEMA is the one time each year that we get to see all of our friends from the industry in one place, and the annual DivePhotoGuide & Wetpixel cocktail party is a unique opportunity for the underwater imaging industry to socialize and have fun all together.  This is all possible due to our gracious sponsors.
