Deepblu Announces COSMIQ Anniversary Update

Deepblu, Inc. has unveiled an update to celebrate the first anniversary of the introduction of its COSMIQ dive computer. As well as bringing new functionality to the computer, the update offers fresh versions of its social network, Deepblu, and the iOS and Android apps of the same name.

The COSMIQ gains a new power-saving mode, adjustable backlight brightness, and a new pre-dive screen allowing divers to check settings. For the apps and the web platform, there are now new dive summary images of users’ dive logs featuring their photos and dive statistics.

Deepblu Releases COSMIQ Anniversary Update, Vastly Improves Hardware and Software Products
The award-winning COSMIQ Dive Computer and the Deepblu social network for divers receive major functional updates extending functionality and improving user experience.

This week is exactly one year since Deepblu, Inc. announced the release of its COSMIQ, the most stylish dive computer on the market for scuba divers and freedivers. COSMIQ and its younger brother COSMIQ+ quickly received critical acclaim and its clarity, rechargeable battery and attractive design continued to rake in praise.

Deepblu, Inc. is now announcing the release of the COSMIQ Anniversary Update, which not only brings exciting new functionality to the Dive Computer, but also to Deepblu, its fast-growing social network for divers and ocean enthusiasts. The iOS, Android and web applications all receive a major overhaul that will improve the experience of its users.
 

 

For the COSMIQ Dive Computer, a new pre-dive screen will help divers verify their settings and a power-saving mode extends the autonomy of the COSMIQ to up to 12 hours per charge. Freedivers will also welcome the adjustable backlight brightness, which allows them to feel even more one with the ocean than before.
