If you missed out on Our World Underwater, don’t fret, because DEEP Indonesia International Underwater Photo Competition is still open for submissions!

Hosted by DivePhotoGuide and Wetpixel, and in association with DEEP Indonesia, this highly acclaimed contest packs a prize cache of over $40,000 in awards.  This year’s contest has six different categories, including Compact Cameras, Divers, Animal Portraits, Animal Behavior, Reefscapes, and Sharks, so there is a range suitable for just about all shooting interests.

Winners of DEEP earn tremendous accolades, and are considered to be among some of the world’s finest underwater photographers.  Associated with the Our World Underwater competition, there is a combined prize pool of over $85,000.  And the judging panel is comprised of leading professional underawater photographers and magazine editors from around the world.

** Deadline for submissions March 10th, 2014 **

Winners will be announced online and published by our media partners worldwide. Winning images will also be exhibited during the DEEP Indonesia Expo.

The fee to enter is $10 per image. As with all UnderwaterCompetition.com events, 15% of entry proceeds will be donated to marine conservation efforts
