We really enjoy coming to shows in Southeast Asia. This was DPG's first year at the Malaysia International Dive Expo. I was taken care of in style and got a great look at the surrounding area, something that otherwise I would not have had a chance to do. I'm really glad that I had the opportunity to expand the itinerary of the trip to do a little exploring. We look forward to coming back next year and sincerely thank the organizers and Tourism Malaysia for putting on such a great event and inviting us.
Malaysia has a large number of divable islands, including the iconic destinations of Sipadan and Borneo. In the next few days I will be heading to Tioman Island, where DPG will cover the Tioman Mega Dive event. I'll be one of the judges in the underwater photo competition...stay tuned!
