By Ian Seldrup, October 9, 2014 @ 10:30 PM (EST)

If you’ve been glued to Discovery Channel’s “Daily Planet” show this week, it’s because they’ve been embedding with some serious adventure-seekers. “Anything for the Shot” Week, which premiered on Monday, October 6 at 7pm ET and runs through Friday, October 10, features stories ranging from a husband and wife team in Honduras trying to break a free-diving world record to an explorer in Hawaii who’s creating a special light box to capture iridescent creatures of the deep.

On the Discovery website, “Daily Planet” producer Diego Garcia describes a couple of near misses he’s had while filming for the show—being smacked by the tail of a whale shark and coming very close to the business end of a three-metre croc!

Tune in for the final day tomorrow—and get a taster from the videos below.
